I'm surprised he didn't mention the usefulness for astrophotography and night photography. This has 12 times the light gathering ability of an f/1.4 lens, meaning you could get a really bright and low noise Milky Way photo in 1 or 2 seconds. Or capture fast action in really low light. Bats are notoriously hard to take still photos of because it's unethical to use flash.

Noooo! Please don't use glue for a USB port! Drill countersunk holes and use threaded brass inserts and use some common standoffs to mount the breakout board! Ugh that one design choice is the only thing that bugs me about this build lol

Some notes from my build; make sure you have standoffs. And the screws you want are M3 .5 12mm or longer. 8mm is too short. If your cable is wrapped already from the seller, you may desire to unwrap part as it goes under the mdf on the bottom.

I think with a video out port, there’s no reason this form factor shouldn’t exist. Especially since the poor implementation of the PS Portal uses your home network, there are numerous issues that can arise.
